Short Chain – Circular economy on our own land
The meat from Meat Nature comes from close by. A conscious choice is made for as short a chain as possible. The feed for the cows is grown on their own land. The manure from the cows is used on our own fields, to grow the feed for the cows. Circular and responsible. This way we aim for low food miles and a low food print.
Local story
Rest, farmer-gourmet, and responsible, that's the way of working. The Belgian Blue crossbred dual-purpose cows are given time to grow calmly in the Zonzeelse Polder. No medicines are used for the animals, it's pure nature.
They keep their natural horns. They are allowed to grow and develop into quality meat. And you can taste it. Only when the cows are fully grown, do they go to a local butchery.
